If you could have one wish for 2010 - what would it be?

If chocolate were free, I would say yes. But in all seriousness, I think that there are a lot of things that you can buy that can also make you happy. Chocolate being one of those things :) But I think that the things that you buy only really give you temporary happiness. My opinion, anyway.

Being single definitely does have it’s benefits. You can go out and kiss whoever you want, and party all you want.. not that I actually do this haha. But there’s more freedom, I guess. In saying that, though, I think there comes a point...

Community radio? What is this community radio station you speak of?
I volunteer with a friend at SYN aka Student Youth Network. They do radio and television, and it’s specifically for young people aged 12-25. It’s awesome fun and great experience :)

So, how ‘bout that Myki system huh? Ordered one yet?
Ughh god. I HATE Myki with a passion already. I don’t see any problems with the current ticketing system we have now. The government has wasted soo much money on trying to get Myki up and running. It’s much easier to buy the metcards. The government is just too proud to admit that it’s a mistake.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Big question. I have an idea of the next five years or so, but I don’t really know what to expect in 10 years time. I’m hoping to have my own family by then, or be married. And with a good job in radio production or even journalism or something. I’m not all that sure. I don’t really want to plan that far ahead...

Do you think the future is what you make of it?
Definitely. You can’t just go around hoping or wishing for something to happen. You actually have to go out there and make something happen and do something about it, instead of just sitting around wishing it would happen already. I’m a strong believer in hard work as a means to get where you want to be.

What are you plans for 2010?
Second year of uni, getting more involved in community radio, hopefully quitting Safeway and get a new job (but that doesn’t look likely), go out more, travel a bit, be more spontaneous. A bit of everything, really :)
